Michele Lawrence

Having gained nursing, midwifery and health visiting qualifications and experience over three decades,  Michele’s expertise has been at the population public health level. Working on emergency planning and immunisation coordination. These skills have been useful in the pandemic of 2009 and In our more recent Covid19 pandemic where she has actively worked on the incident response undertaking a variety of roles.

Michele has a vast amount of experience in managing teams and developing quality and safeguarding systems. Michele’s current head of safeguarding role has required a greater need for population health safeguarding due to the effects of isolation brought on by the pandemic and the hidden harms of vulnerable children and adults that have been experienced by so many during these unprecedented times.

Michele has recently been appointed a trustee at Bethel Health and healing network where she provides board support and decision making. In her spare time, Michele plays a lot of badminton and is a keen runner, gardener and baker.
