A Scottish based car dealership has stepped in to support Bethel Health and Healing Network.

CEO Madge Milligan-Green said, “We were over the moon when we heard that our application to the Arnold Clark Community Fund was successful.

“Our mission is to promote health and wellbeing to people in need, and the grant from Arnold Clark Community Fund goes some way to help us meet our goals. We’ll definitely be able to put the money to good use.”

As with every community-based organisation, Bethel has risen to the challenges of COVID-19 and the lockdowns.

“We’re now in a position to begin growing our successful Rapha Services through a network of community hubs in Birmingham,” explained Madge.

“Recruitment is underway for a new Rapha Services Manager, and Support Worker and their objective will be to ensure we have sufficient capacity to meet the needs of vulnerable people in our city who need access to a compassionate telephone listening service, 12 hours a day, 7 days a week.

“We’re also recruiting for a new Chair of our board of trustees, so it’s full steam ahead for us at Bethel.”
