Bethel Health and Healing Network is a Christian organisation, offering services to marginalised people. It registered as a charity in 2006 and has achieved Trusted Charity Level 1 quality standard.  It offers support services to isolated pregnant women (Doula Service) and a Listening service for people who are struggling with minor mental health problems.  The charity is governed by a Board of Trustees.

We are seeking to appoint three new trustees, to join our existing, dynamic Board of Trustees. These are voluntary (unpaid) positions, though expenses will be offered.

Do you share our passion for ensuring access to high quality services to disadvantaged, vulnerable and isolated communities?

The charity is at an exciting stage of its development. We have enhanced our strategic objectives and are looking for passionate and committed change makers to join our equally purpose driven and focussed Board of Trustees. The new trustees will be joining a proactive Board of Trustees who are open to new ideas and welcome a genuine desire to make a difference.

You will contribute towards the implementation of our strategic objectives, actively champion equality, diversity, and inclusion and demonstrate a strong personal commitment to the charity’s vision and values. You will have a high degree of tact, diplomacy as well as emotional intelligence.

Whether you are an experienced Trustee or taking your first step as a Trustee, we would love to hear from you.
The Board’s skills, talents and experiences are vast and varied. We are, however, keen to further strengthen our diversity to better reflect the communities that we serve.

We would particularly welcome applications from individuals with a diversity of experience and perspectives.

Trustees
We are seeking passionate trustees who can help to steer and support the Chair and the Board through the next growth phase of Bethel Health and Healing Network.

The Board of Trustees is responsible for the overall governance and strategic direction of the charity, developing our aims, objectives, and goals in accordance with our governing document, legal and regulatory guidelines. You will be expected to use your specialist skills and commitment to help shape the future of our charity and to improve the lives of vulnerable people.

You will need to demonstrate a personal commitment to the charity’s vision and values and have the desire to improve the health and wellbeing of the local community.

Whether you are an experienced Trustee or taking your first step as a Trustee, we would love to hear from you.
