Counselling

We offer individual counselling and/or prayer support for individuals, particularly those who have experienced trauma, such as domestic violence, accident, torture or victimisation also:

How will counselling help me?

Counselling provides a safe confidential place where you can explore issues or feelings which are causing you difficulty. Counselling can help you to find healing and wholeness, and enable you to bring positive change to your life. Your counsellor will aim to relate to you in a supportive and purposeful manner.

How long does each session last?

Each session usually lasts 50 minutes. Your first appointment will be an assessment where you will be able to talk about your needs in counselling and how we may be able to support you. You will then be expected to have an agreement to see your counsellor on a regular basis until you decide that your goals have been achieved.

Who do we help?

Our services are available to people over 18 years of age, of any faith or none. We will not discriminate on the grounds of race, gender, sexuality, disability, ability to pay or lifestyle.

All Bethel Network counsellors are qualified and experienced - bound by a Code of Ethics and are subject to its complaints procedure. They receive professional supervision internally and independently.

Will I have to pay?

No one will be excluded from the service on their ability to pay. All we ask is that those who are able to make a donation for the counselling service they receive to enable us to continue to provide the service. Please discuss this with your counsellor.

When is it available?

Wednesdays and Thursdays (daytime and evenings) by appointment.
